The China Grove Municipal Court handles the judicial processing of Class C Misdemeanors that originate from traffic citations, citizen complaints, animal control violations, municipal code violations, and misdemeanor arrests. The Court is responsible for maintaining pertinent case files/records, including arrest records, formal complaints, citation disposals, state reports, court cost records, docket records, trial proceedings, refunds and forfeitures, and warrants for failure to appear and non-payment of fines.

 

The Court is also responsible for reporting court information to the various departments of the State of Texas as well as processing of payments to the State for fines and fees collected by the City as required by State Law.

 

China Grove Municipal Court is a "Court of Record."

To prevent a failure to appear,

A defendant may pay a fine by clicking pay a ticket, make a payment plan with an extension for 31 days with a one Time Payment Fee of $15.00 per case, or request the driving safety course during court office hours on or before their court appearance date.

Making a payment in full of any fine through this system constitutes an admission of GUILTY or NO CONTEST and can result in an entry of a conviction against you. Any such conviction(s) will be reported to the Texas Department of Public Safety or to the state from which your driver's license has been issued. If you would like to plead NOT GUILTY, you must contact the court or your attorney as soon as possible.

To pay a traffic ticket online, click the Pay a Ticket tab then click Criminal Search. You may search for a ticket by entering by Ticket Number. Once the information has been entered simply click PAY.

If you have lost a ticket, click on pay a ticket tab than click Criminal Search. You may search for a ticket by entering Name and Date of Birth or by Ticket Number. Click on Details than case information and events to find your court date to prevent a failure to appear.

Payments in person can be made by Cash, Money order & cashier check (no personal checks are accepted). Debit and Credit card are charged 5% service fee.
